Material
From 2021, all pleats are made of recycled polyester, which is made by processing plastic bottles. We estimate that approximately 48 bottles are needed to produce the material for one piece of pleats. The knitwear is produced in a knitting factory in Łódź.
Printing & pleating
The next step is to print the material with patterns designed by us. The print is made using the sublimation method in a printing house in Łódź. After a short visit to the sewing room, the printed fabric goes to machine pleating, which also takes place in Łódź.
Sewing
The last step is to sew the pleats from the printed and pleated material. We cooperate with one of the sewing factories in Łódź.
